On a sunny October morning Hedon fancied another win over Withernsea at Saltend.
Hedon started well and took the game to Withernsea with some good passing and all round effort.
All the Hedon team worked hard and took the lead with a netbuster from Harvey Bowman just inside the box after 8 mins.
After going close twice through Charlie Horth and Joe Robinson Hedon sat back and allowed Withernsea to attack equalising with a quality strike.
1-1
Game 2 started well again with all the Hedon players sniffing a win. Charlie Horth put some great runs together on the right flank again with Hedon going close through Keiran and Axel. Lewis got the ball well within his own half and produced a fantastic run taking on three players and netting what could be an early contender for goal of the season.
Charlie Jessop pulled off a couple of fantastic saves to keep Hedon in pole position.
Yet again Withernsea came forward and equalised within a few minutes rattling the Hedon team. Numerous chances came Hedons way to score the winner but with a minute to go sloppy defending cost them the game.
1-2
