Hedon Rangers Sunday mens team started out as Royal Mail many years ago.
The club was soon renamed Saltend Social (aka Saltend Sluggers, now Saltend Soldiers) and flourished under the guidance of Steve Crane. After several successful seasons the sad demise of the Saltend Social Club saw the baton handed over to the younger generation to keep the club up and running.
The 2009/10 season see's the amalgamation of Saltend Social and Hedon Rangers Football Club's to ensure the club remains upstanding and to give the young footballers of the club somewhere to play on a Sunday morning.
